Meet Mouli Chatterjee, our Senior Programme Manager at Impact Hub London. Leading the design and delivery of enterprise support programmes and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams. Passionate about social impact, she finds inspiration in working with purpose-led entrepreneurs and is especially proud of leading The Circular StartUp incubator.

Role: Senior Programme Manager- working on design and delivery of enterprise support programmes, process monitoring for regular reporting, collaboration and support to ensure smooth running of overall programmes.
How did you come to be a part of the Impact Hub London Team?
I moved to London 3 years back, during my job search, Impact Hub London was aligned to my values and that’s how I landed here and been 3 years with IHL too.
What do you love about your role?
The opportunity to meet inspiring entrepreneurs with great ideas helps me to stay motivated and their thoughts around people and planet reconfirm that I am with like-minded people.
What has been something you are particularly proud of in your role?
The Circular StartUp Programme ran in 2022-2023 was the highlight for me so far. It was an incubator to empower 50 entrepreneurs to build their circular economy focused ideas into businesses. It was a successful programme with great knowledge gain in circular economy space
What one word would you use to describe Impact Hub and describe why?
Resilience will be the word, I feel as a team we are resilient as journeys of social enterprises in today’s landscape is quite turbulent. Same word goes for all entrepreneurs we support as founder journeys require hard work, courage to sail smooth and safe.
Why do you think social impact / social enterprise is important?
Social enterprises are pivotal to make sure we reach the vulnerable and make them empowered, to build a climate focused approach, mainly overall ethical businesses is the call of the hour since we have 1 planet and several mouths unfed in today’s difficult times, we need to reach as many we can while ourselves being viable in the economy.
Can you name a colleague or member who has had a positive impact on your work?
Angelica Santodomingo(Ex Programmes Director) at IHL was a great mentor, support to learn and conquer any challenge at work
What’s a valuable lesson you’ve learned in your career?
Becoming a good mentor in current role is primary to be a support for entrepreneurs, we did a great course on it supported by Impact Hub Global and that’s the lesson applied across my role today.
How do you work to improve your work-life balance?
I am a new mom and just back from maternity leave so still juggling with the balance. One thing I have been following is switching off from work completely to spend quality time with my little one. Making sure I flex hours if needed and communicating my needs to the team.
If you could magically acquire a new skill overnight, what would it be, and how would you use it at work?
Time Management or extending hours of the day, will work great to balance life again.
What techniques do you use to foster innovation and creativity within your team?
Creative circles based on preferences of team mates has supported to foster innovation.
