Environment Talks: How Our Actions Can Alleviate Air Pollution
About this Event
What better way to celebrate Earth Day than by talking about all the ways we can be kinder to our planet. But enough talks and lectures! Join Impact Hub King’s Cross and our resident Sustainability Expert, Stav Friedman, for an active, engaging workshop focusing on air quality – and how we can make it better.
Thu, 22 April, 17.30
We’ll briefly delve into the details of air pollution, and the differences between local air pollution and global emissions. We’ll then break into smaller groups for an activity designed to help you understand how your daily actions contribute to pollution – and the alternatives and solutions! We have a fantastic line-up of speakers and facilitators including:
- Tom Parkes, Senior Air Quality Officer, London Borough of Camden
- Natalie Curd, Project Lead for Idling Action London, London Borough of Camden
- Jonathan Withey from Planet Mark
- Laura Lacklin and Rachael Aldridge from Cross River Partnership
- Oli Back from EcoTripping
- David Green from Earthsense
- Beau Zilesnick from Hubbub
We’ll also be providing an exclusive ‘Air Pollution & Solutions’ toolkit for attendees – so register now to gain access!
