Buzzacott

Buzzacott is a Top 25 firm of Chartered accountants and the largest single office accountancy firm in the UK. We operate through specialist teams some of which target specific sectors and some of which offer specific services. We have a team dedicated to working with social enterprises, of which many are new enterprises who, understandably, find the demands of financial regulation and compliance a distraction from growing the business. Our team consists exclusively of professionals who have chosen to work with the social sector making us, we believe, unique among medium and large accounting firms.

The clinic will be run by Edward Finch, Partner in the Charity & Not-for-Profit team. As well as a wide range of charities, Eddie has a particular interest in social enterprise. He oversees the audit and advisory services that Buzzacott delivers to his clients operating locally, nationally and internationally.

As well as advice relating to financial statements and reporting, his work includes reviewing structures, governance, systems and processes as well as training for trustees and staff. He undertakes a variety of writing and speaking, including contributing to the Bloomsbury Professional Publishing’s reference book “Charity Accounting and Taxation”. He is a frequent presenter at the firm’s seminars and sector conferences and is a visiting lecturer at London South Bank University.
