Next clinic will be run by Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC), a social enterprise and a fund manager, authorised and regulated by the FCA. They are a team inspired by change, combining a deep understanding of the social sector with considerable experience in financial markets. SACS makes loans to, and investments in, charities and social enterprises to help achieve greater sustainability and enable them do what they do best – create social impact with the communities they serve. SASC believes in social enterprises and that’s why we are one too, with 51% of their profits being reinvested into our charity partner. SASC manages £50 million across two funds. The Community Investment Fund invests (from £250k upwards) in locally-led community organisations that support marginalised groups across England. Their Third Sector Loan Fund makes unsecured and secured loans (from £250k upwards) to charities and regulated social enterprises (asset and mission locked organisations such as CICs and Coops) working across the United Kingdom.
