Setting the right short-term targets for startup growth
Startups have to develop ambitious but viable growth targets in order to succeed. If they‘re too comfortable or too ambitious the business will most likely fail – even if the marketing and operations are doing everything else right.
How to balance investor expectations with business reality?
What are the right factors to consider when choosing short-term targets?
Do I need to revise my existing targets?
How to balance short-term and long-term goals?
In this practical workshop, CEOs, commercial directors and heads of marketing will develop the toolkit to set their short-term growth targets confidently. You will cover the 3 main areas of target setting – long-term vision, 4 factors for setting targets, identifying milestones. You will go through the best-practice, but also run through short exercises in small groups to apply the insights straight away. People will come away from the session with a clear framework for how to approach their target setting process in their own business.
The workshop is run by Felix Rossknecht. Felix is an expert in business growth strategy and founder of Newton Bell, a growth marketing agency working with B2C startups in the UK and Germany. You can read some of their insights into startup growth on www.newtonbell.com/insights.
